Summary: Metro8 collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the game cannot connect to the internet at all. The few settings it keeps stay on your Mac.

1. Introduction

Metro8 ("the Game") is a game for Mac developed by Harjot Singh Panesar ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what the Game does and does not do with information about you.

2. Information We Collect

None. Metro8 does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information or usage data.

  • It does not ask for a name, email address, phone number or any account.
  • It contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking software of its own.
  • It runs inside the macOS App Sandbox without permission to use the network, so it cannot send anything anywhere.

3. What Stays on Your Mac

The Game saves only what it needs to start the way you left it: your graphics level, your screen resolution and similar settings. These files are kept in the Game's own sandbox folder on your Mac (inside ~/Library/Containers/com.harjotsingh.metro8), are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are removed when you delete the Game and its data.

4. Apple

Metro8 is distributed through the Mac App Store. Purchases, downloads and updates are handled by Apple under your App Store account. If you have chosen in macOS settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports; Apple's handling of that information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We have no data about you to sell, rent, trade or share, and we do not.

6. Children's Privacy

Metro8 is a horror game with frightening scenes and violence, made for teenagers and adults. It collects no information from anyone, of any age.

7. Your Rights

Because the Game holds no information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can remove everything the Game has stored on your Mac by deleting the Game.

8. Changes to This Policy

If the Game ever changes how it handles information, this page will be updated with a new effective date before that version is released.
